Customer Reviews
from 28 reviewsMy kids really enjoy taking their lunches, so I have no problem spending a bit extra to make lunch enjoyable for them. This case and insert is great, as it has plenty of room, keeps foods separated, and survives my son's backpack (as in major chaos). It's a little wider than a typical lunch box, so there is plenty of room, but not so big that it fills a standard size backpack. The case is nicely lined and will keep the lunch cool. The tray has a rubber seal and snaps shut, so there are no leaks.

We love this lunchbox for my third grader. My daughter's best friend has this box and her mom sang highest praises when I asked her what she truly thought about it and was it worth it? So after my daughter's previous bag recently fell victim to an unfortunate development we went to find the GoGreen lunchbox. So far my daughter absolutely loves it and I do too. I will say this upfront: I will not put the box into the dishwasher, because for one the website does say not to do that and two, how hard is it to wash it by hand? It takes me no time at all. But I digress, what I personally love about this box is that there is an 8oz stainless steel bottle that fits right into the box, adios juice boxes and so long expensive single serve milk. I love how I can give her homemade tea, water mixed with good fruit juices, oj or milk and it won't make me poor. The compartments are roomy enough for bigger meals if so wanted, or smaller meals even if they are messier. Although I would NOT put soup into these, for one it wouldn't stay warm and two, it would be too much liquid. So if she wants to take soup then it will be in a thermos container in a different bag. If she wants salad then I will put it into the compartment but stick the dressing into an extra small container into the box. I do like how all the foods stay separated and the snaps on the sides are super easy to operate, not a worry at all for my small kid. I am currently considering purchasing another bag for my 11 year old, but I want to wait and see how things work out in the longer term as her current lunchbox is still usable. I really love the Kaleidoscope pattern by the way, it's way cuter in person than in the pictures, there are tiny little hearts all over and the colors look bright and happy!

My 11 yo son has used the Go Green lunch box for the past two years. He takes his lunch daily so he has gotten a lot of use out of it. It does hold a ton of food and/or bulky food which is nice. Because the compartments are larger than most bento type lunch boxes it gives you more variety in the types of foods you can fit such as whole fruit. We have not had any issues with the box. It has held up very well. The only downside is my son does not like how the lunch box has to snap shut on all four sides. He says it's a pain to snap close while in the carry bag so he has to take it out to open and close. It fits very snug in the carry bag. As far as it being leakproof,we have not had any issues with yogurt leaking out. But if I pack applesauce etc I use small containers with lids that fit inside the compartments. Overall we have been happy with it.

My son has had one of these lunches boxes for 5 years and used it 3-4 times a week during the school year! Finally have to replace the case because it wore out. We loved it so much, we bought another for his brother. Going strong. My kids don't have any problem opening and closing them and if done correctly, they don't leak. The only change we do is to have a thin ice pack that we place underneath. Works great. Also, great customer service when bought through their website. We had one of the original boxes and the tabs broke off, they replaced it for free, easy peasey

We were using bento boxes, a few of the bento boxes broke at the hinge. These have been awesome so far. Lots of room, easy to pack lunches and seem to be very durable.

We have four kids and these are the only lunch boxes I buy. They are pricey but they last and they hold enough food to take them from kindergarten to grade 12. They are roomy enough for adult lunches, no problem. Full sized sandwich fits if you cut it diagonally and tilt it a bit putting it in. Opening/closing will require practice for little ones, but my 3 year old could do hers by herself after a couple of weeks. I regularly put goopy stuff like yogurt and dips in, with no leakage. I wouldn't chance it with soup, but who knows. Lunch box is good, not that you have a choice as it's the only one that will fit this huge box!

Best lunchbox I've tried. Outer insulated cool pouch has mesh compartment for ice pack and a small dry erase board to write notes. The inner box is sectioned so there is no need for plastic or reusable bags which saves time in packing. The top has seals around each compartment so you can use yogurt from bulk containers without it spilling which saves money. Comes with a nice stainless thermos with a silicone seal or fits small organic milk boxes. Large enough for my big eater!

I got this for my 4 year old son. He loves it. I like the space for a drink and that you can lock it so stuff doesn’t run together. The bag is super cute too!
